Shoot To The Moon (11/30/2007)
released: Nov 30, 2007
description: A row of shooters take aim at targets. As they fire, one stands out above the rest with a dead hit every time. As Craig "Josh" Crackson pulls his perfectly-shot target to him, he smiles, revealing a gold tooth.
Meanwhile, President McGuire meets with Steven in the Oval Office. Steven has some difficult news for the president – they have become aware of the existence of life on the moon, and it appears as though that life is hostile. The meeting is interrupted by the president's teenage daughter, Angel.
On the moon, the king of the aliens, who has taken the name Hulk Hogan, lays out the plans for the overthrowing of the American government. He sends down one of his soldiers, who has taken the name Brad Paisley, to destroy the government while he prepares the armies for the next phase of attack. Brad Paisley immediately takes off for Earth, where he easily acclimates to human culture and moves anonymously to his target – the White House.
President McGuire has called in the Navy Seals (including Crackson) to nip any alien attacks in the bud. He instructs them to travel to NASA, where two astronauts will escort them to the moon. He wishes them luck on their mission, and sets about the rest of his presidential duties. The Navy Seals set off for NASA. Unbeknownst to the Seals, Angel has snuck into their truck and left with them. Unbeknownst to everyone, Brad Paisley has successfully planted a bomb in the White House. It explodes, killing everyone in the vicinity.
The Navy Seals arrive at NASA and meet with astronauts Dutch Palomino and Ricky Wonstad. As they prepare to head off to the moon, they hear about the destruction of the White House. Angel reveals herself, and declares herself the new president due to the new line of succession. She orders the Navy Seals to let her go to the moon with them. They reluctantly agree.
The space shuttle blasts off and docks in the American space station shortly thereafter. The astronauts board the space station, only to be met with a small army of aliens that have taken over. The astronauts launch the space shuttle to safety before meeting their ends at the hands of the aliens. The Navy Seals are at a loss, as none of them can pilot a space ship. Fortunately, Angel has been to Space Camp twice, and takes the controls. She lands them successfully on the moon, where the Navy Seals promptly tell her to stay where she is.
The Navy Seals stake out the alien army. They overtook several of the alien soldiers and steal their spacesuits, making it easy for them to sneak undetected into Hulk Hogan's inner lair. They watch as Hulk Hogan plots with his queen, Claire Danes, and then reveal themselves. Hulk Hogan is unfazed – he in turn reveals the thousands of alien soldiers hiding in his lair. The Seals are captured and thrown in the dungeon.
Meanwhile, Angel pouts around the space shuttle, until inspiration strikes and she puts together a makeshift space suit. She follows the trail to the alien castle of Hulk Hogan, where she uncovers the Navy Seals. She frees them, and they all quickly return to the space shuttle, where they decide the only course of action is blowing up the moon. A brave Seal, Josh, volunteers to be the one to set off the bomb. Angel knights him, and the Seals release Josh and the bomb onto the moon as they rapidly depart. They race the ensuing explosion and only just make it out of the path of it – but Hulk Hogan manages to escape as well.
Back on Earth, Angel gives her first speech as president as the Navy Seals watch from the audience. Unbeknownst to all of them, however, Brad Paisley is in the audience as well, safe and sound.
