See You Later, Not Goodbye, Mike Carr

by jorin

Well, we came to the bittersweet point of Mike Carr’s last show before he moved along to Florida to be the brains behind an animated Monster. I’m sure it’ll be great, and it’s an opportunity he can’t pass up, but we are going to miss him a ton.

A great guy, really a pro, and pretty much everything you want in a teammate. It’s interesting to me — he deserved a show like last night’s where everyone sort of honored him whether he was leaving or not. Guys like Mike Carr we should make a regular effort to celebrate, not just because they are leaving.

But, he is, for now … but hopefully not from our little digital world here. So here’s to Mike Carr and his continued internet presence.

[Hi Jill!]

Check out what people had to say on the CIN:

This being the 2nd iO team that I’ve been on with Mike, I can attest that he is a great performer and will be missed.  Thanks for all of your hard work this past year with us Mike, we wouldn’t be the team we are now if it weren’t for you.

    Good luck in Disney.

Agreed.  I hope this is the next step for you towards becoming a working actor.  Remember, if you ever need to come back, we will allow you back in after an extensive caning.

I sent an email but I cant say enough times how lucky I was/am to be a part of Revolver. I love you guys and know that you’ll continue to be a great team because all of you are great. Each member brings a different pice of the puzzle and helps make this team a complete unit. Its been a pleasure…and it will be again. SOmeday.
